Walk on the Moon

I came across a great little website showcasing some super creative products with countless witty references to popular culture (phrases, places, etc).

Usually obsure and never cheap -- Check it out: ATYPYK

Make sure you read the captions to the products.

Very creative! I like the fact that most of those phrases you can identify with. They seem to be an assembly of cliches that come together in a the form of a product. In the broader aspect of visual culture, it certainly calls has the appeal to today's society. I'm wondering how it might have looked say, in 1970s. How might it be different? Thats the thing about those products, they only have validity as a current contemporary world. It may not have the same effect if one were to look at it 50 years later, where the products would seem unfamiliar or laughably outdated. Still, quite engaging and creative.
